Hidden drawers in the cabinets and under the desk provide discreet storage, while the bar cabinet adds a refined touch. The original locks were removed by a previous owner and replaced with golden handles, preserving its authentic vintage character. Good to know: Bra Bohag AB was part of Sweden’s rich furniture-making heritage. The company originated from AB Svenska Möbelfabrikerna, which was founded in 1872 when Axel Hägg transformed the Boda mill into a furniture production site. Under the leadership of the Zeinwoldt brothers, the company grew into the largest furniture manufacturer in the Nordic region. Collaborations with renowned Swedish designers such as Carl Malmsten, Axel Larsson, Bertil Frid Hagen, and Bruno Mattson played a significant role in shaping Swedish furniture history. In 1950, Svenska Möbelfabrikerna joined forces with several manufacturers under the Bra Bohag AB brand. Eventually, the company was acquired by the Dux Group in 1971.
